About Me

My photo
Scene in the Past
Greetings and saluations! My name is Ginger, and what I most love to sew is historical clothing. I got my start around 1997, when my family took up reenacting the American Civil War. Since then, my recreation interests have expanded forward to the vintage look, particularly the years 1935-1945, and backward into the Georgian period, roughly 1770 - 1820. My special love is for discovering the authentic construction, details, and accessories that really help me capture The Look of a particular period. In other words, making it a "Scene in the Past."
